So, I've been back on LJ for a while commenting on other people's posts... but this is the first official post I've done in like, forever. Trying to get back in the swing of things, and vickienash is helping me out by providing some memes. ;D

Eventually, I want to get back to my writing. I've let Wonderland sit for a damn year now, and it NEEDS to be finished. Even if nobody even remembers it anymore... it's always in the back of my mind, and it's screaming for closure! Plus, I have 18 prompted drabbles that I need to finish.. it's a good exercise to get me back into that frame of mind. So hopefully those will be up sometime in the semi-near future.

80's hair bands: I don't remember most of the 80s, as I was a few years too late. lol. But I love pretty much everything that decade produced... especially the music. Years and years ago, a friend of mine made me listen to Skid Row's "I Remember You," and it just took off from there. My vast music collection includes Skid Row, Poison, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Warrant, Great White.. well.. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture. lol.

art: Well, that's sort of a broad thing, isn't it? I have no 'artistic' talent whatsoever, really. (Aside from my writing, in some people's opinion.) But I am always in complete awe over people who can just grab a pencil or a paintbrush and create something amazing, and make it seem so effortless. I am a big fan of body art, as well. I have eleven tattoos, with many more to come.

edge/jericho: I have never actually written Edge/Jericho. But they are the reason I started actually watching WWE. My ex used to come over and watch it every Monday, and I would dread it! But then I discovered them. And being that I have quite the weakness for sexy men with long blonde hair (this may also be linked to my 80's music thing... see: Sebastian Bach lol), I used the image of them together to get me through the two hours of RAW. And after that, the whole thing just sucked me in.

fanfiction: Namely slashfic, although I'll read anything in my fandoms if it catches my interest. I was introduced to fanfiction long ago with the old Xena and Hercules TV shows, but didn't get REALLY into it until Lord of the Rings. It's always been a big part of my online life. I just wish I had more time to read and write!

fantasy: Because real life sucks! Need I say more? ;D

guys in eyeliner: I... don't know why. Crossdressing totally squicks me. Guys in makeup? Not usually my thing. JUST eyeliner. It does me in every time. Could have something to do with this. Or perhapsthis? Who knows!

rocky horror picture show: My parents were part of the original RHPS clan. Used to go the midnight showings on Saturday nights and do props and callbacks and cast parties and everything. I'd listen to their stories about the theatres and the parties and be absolutely fascinated. And then when my mother deemed me old enough, she rented the movie and we watched it. I've seen it probably hundreds of times since then. My nieces could both Time Warp by the time they were ten. :D
